Farid Ahmed, MD

Dr. Farid Ahmed is Board Eligible in Family Medicine.  He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and served a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Miami Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida.  Dr. Ahmed completed internships in Liver and Gastroenterology Transplants and in General Surgery at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and a residency in Family Medicine at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.  He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.  His clinical interests include medical research, sleep apnea, pediatric malignancies, and continuity of patient care.
