Dennis Jones, MD

Dennis Jones, MD is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island, and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut.  He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.  Dr. Jones was General Medical Officer, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Chief of Orthopedics at the Army Hospital, Fort Riley, Kansas.

Dr. Jones specializes in knee, hip, shoulder care and joint replacement surgery, as well as sports medicine for all ages.  He emphasizes a collaborative approach with a patient’s primary care physician as well as encouraging patients to be pro-active in dealing with orthopedic related problems with strong emphasis on prevention and early detection.

Prior to joining HealthPoint, Dr. Jones practiced at Westcoast Medical Group in Tarpon Springs, Florida.  He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
