HealthPoint Medical Group congratulates Dr. Gerald Sokol on his retirement and thanks him for his many years of dedicated service.

Dr. Sokol recently wrote a letter announcing his retirement, a copy of which is below.

“Dear patients, parents, friends and family:

After much thought and deliberation, I have recently decided to retire effective June 20, 2008.  I know I’ve told many of you, when asked, that I had no retirement time table; however as of late I’ve decided it was time.

Throughout my 36 years of practice it’s been challenging, intellectually stimulating and above all extremely satisfying.  Without a doubt, I’ll miss all of you, especially the children.

The office staff and doctors at this office are second to none.  I do hope you’ll continue your medical care here.
