Your child's health is our main concern.  We believe in providing people with compassionate care and in building long lasting relationships.

Our trained medical staff can treat most immediate problems that occur after your child's doctor's office has closed.  Some of the many services provided by HealthPoint Evenings & Weekends:

- Care for earaches and sore throats
- Fever that won't break
- Asthma treatment
- Stitches or Dermabond
- Sports injuries
- Foreign body removal
- Onsite X-Rays, blood and urine tests with immediate results
- Dehydration - IV fluid replacement
- Animal bites

Our Practice
When a health care need arises after your child's primary doctor's office closes, we are there for you. We ask that you call the patient's doctor and describe the symptoms.  However, you can also call us directly. Of course, we are not an "emergency center", so life threatening injuries or illnesses should always go to the hospital emergency room.

For a child under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the child. We will need to obtain a consent signed by the parent/guardian for diagnosis and treatment before we can see the patient.

Laboratory Results
We handle some tests onsite, with immediate results. For those sent offsite, our office will call the patient's doctor within three business days with their lab results.

Hospital Care
Should the patient need hospital care, HealthPoint Evenings & Weekends will contact their doctor to make arrangements.

Insurance and Payment
HealthPoint participates in most HMO's, PPO's, Medicare and commercial insurance plans. Please call us to make sure we participate in your health plan.

At the time of your visit, we collect all copays, deductibles and payment for services not covered by your insurance. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash and personal checks.

Prescriptions and Follow Up
HealthPoint Evenings & Weekends will give the patient's doctor the details of their visit. Our caring staff can direct you to the closest late night pharmacy. In most cases, we will provide the first dose immediately. We can even schedule for follow up care with the patient's regular HealthPoint doctor.
