As President of HealthPoint Medical Group, Dr. Lee Kirkman brings to this position the vision of a strong medical group affiliated with St. Joseph’s-Baptist Health Care. He provides a key role in the leadership of HealthPoint Medical Group, assisting in the development of clinical policies and procedures, protocols, and Board Committees. He also maintains an active practice as an Internist and Hospitalist at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Sherry Dorsey is the President of HealthPoint Management Services and Executive Administrator of HealthPoint Medical Group. HealthPoint employs over 300 practice site, business office and corporate staff, supporting over 90 physicians. Ms. Dorsey provides critical leadership for HealthPoint and leads the team charged with successfully supporting the administrative functions of a group practice.
Gilbert Pitisci, MD Gilbert Pitisci, MD is Board Certified in Pediatrics. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida in Tampa and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his internship at Charity Hospital of New Orleans and residency at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in California. Dr. Pitisci has been a licensed, practicing pediatrician since 1972. He has also served as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Kirtland Air Force Base Hospital in Albuquerque, Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa and as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at St. Joseph's - St. Anthony's Health System. He is currently a Medical Director for HealthPoint Medical Group, providing administrative oversight to promote the efficient and economical delivery of medical services. He also lends his experience and leadership to several HealthPoint committees in the areas of physician recruitment, compensation, managed care, operations, and electronic medical records. Dr. Pitisci is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Hillsborough County Pediatric Society.
Medical Director Dr. Robert Pesce is Board Certified in Pediatrics. He received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Pesce served both his internship and residency at Tampa General Hospital through the University of South Florida (USF). He is a Full Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the USF College of Medicine. Dr. Pesce is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Florida Pediatric Society, Hillsborough County Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association. |
