St. Joseph's Community Care is a not-for-profit organization that provides primary care services to patients enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, MediPass, the Hillsborough County Health Care Plan (HCHCP), and those who self-pay.
Our physicians are Board Certified in Family Medicine and are dedicated to the prevention of disease, the promotion of health, and treatment due to minor illness or injury. We believe a regular relationship with your doctor is an important part of quality health care. We treat young adults and adults, age 16 and above, for all primary care needs including:
Arthritis
Asthma Care, Breathing Tests & Treatments
Earaches / Ear Infections
General Medical Exams
Incision and Drainage
Lacerations and Sutures
Medication Refills (no narcotics, no medications are given at the clinic)
Onsite Lab Tests including Blood Sugar, PT and Urine
Puncture Wounds to the Feet
Sore Throats / Coughs / Colds
Sprains / Strains / Contusions (recheck only)
Sunburns / Skin Infections / Rashes
Urinary Tract Infections
Well Woman Exams
And other Primary Care needs including Hypertension, Diabetes and Cholesterol Management, and Minor or Acute Illnesses
We are not equipped to handle broken bones, fractures, x-rays, surgery, or to check for sexually transmitted diseases.
