Dr. Lee Kirkman is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care. He received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He earned his Doctor of Medicine, with honors, from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Kirkman completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle and a Pulmonary Disease Fellowship at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. He has been in private practice, and an Internist and Hospitalist on staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, since 1981. Dr. Kirkman is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine, and the American Medical Association. His clinical interests include pulmonary disease, preventive medicine, and continuity of care.
Dr. Kirkman has been the President of HealthPoint Medical Group since 1996, providing a key leadership role in the development of clinical policies and procedures, protocols, and Board Committees. He is married and has three children. In his spare time he enjoys golf, gardening, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
