Dr. Daniel Jurusz is Board Certified in Surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, Master of Science in Human Physiology, and Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Dr. Jurusz completed his residency in General Surgery at Louisiana State University Medical Center where he was also Chief Teaching Resident, an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Clinical Professor of Surgery. Prior to joining HealthPoint he also practiced at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS, Skyline Surgery Associates in Nashville,TN and was in private practice in Lafayette, LA.
Dr. Jurusz is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Board of Surgery and the Southeastern Surgical Congress.
