Anjum Kumbkarni, MD

Anjum Kumbkarni, MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  She earned her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery degree in India.  She completed her internship and residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she taught medical students and interns, and did research on the Secondary Prevention of Coronary Artery Disease.

Dr. Kumbkarni has been practicing medicine since 2001.  She has published several articles for the general public on Lyme’s disease, Diabetes Mellitus, and Obesity.  She believes in disease prevention, early treatment, and improving quality of life.  Her clinical interests include the evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, with particular emphasis on Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Smoking Cessation and Women’s Health.

Dr. Kumbkarni is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
