Deanna Ohms, DO

Deanna Ohms, DO is Board Certified in Family Medicine.  Prior to receiving her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Master of Science in Physical Education with emphasis on Exercise Physiology, also from Ohio University.  Dr. Ohms utilized these degrees serving as Team Athletic trainer for several university level athletic teams as well as in the corporate realm by creating fitness, nutrition and wellness programs for clients of major corporations.  Upon finishing medical school, Dr. Ohms completed her Internship and Residency in Family Medicine at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida.

 

Dr. Ohms enjoys working with patients of all ages and medical backgrounds in order to create individualized wellness programs with specific goals for each patient.  She has special interest in bariatric/weight management and women’s health. 

 

Dr. Ohms is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
