Arvind B. Soni, MD is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University College of Engineering in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. He completed an Internship at Jersey Shore Medical Center and his Radiation Oncology Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York, where he graduated as Chief Resident.
Dr. Soni has extensive experience in Radiation Oncology including 3D Conformal Radiotherapy, IMRT, Brachytherapy and Radiosurgery. Most recently, he began the Radiosurgery program at Lakeland Regional Cancer Center in Florida. Prior to that, he helped implement the Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy program at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Illinois. Dr. Soni has also served as an Assistant Professor and Co-Director of Vascular Radiation Medicine at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital in New York.
Dr. Soni’s clinical interests include Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, and Head & Neck Malignancies. He holds memberships in the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncologists, American College of Radiology, Florida Medical Association, and the Florida Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
